New Anniesland 21, Helensburgh Drive, Anniesland, Glasgow 13 1RR Tel: 0141 959 4569 From outside the city By car from the north or east, take the M8 to Glasgow and exit at Junction 17, sign-posted for Dumbarton (A82). At the end of the slip road, turn right at the traffic lights and take the fly-over back across the motorway. Follow this road (Great Western Road) for about 5km to Anniesland Cross junction (immediately after Anniesland railway station). Follow signs to Jordanhill and Yoker (A806) turning left into Anniesland Road. After passing Glasgow High School’s playing fields on left, turn left into Helensburgh Drive, and New Anniesland is directly ahead. By car from the south or west by M8 or M77, follow signs to Clyde Tunnel. Go directly ahead on exiting the tunnel on A739 (Balshagray Avenue, which continues as Crow Road), and after about 1.5km (immediately after Glasgow High School on left) veer left on slip road signed to Yoker into Anniesland Road. After the High School playing fields, turn left into Helensburgh Drive, and New Anniesland is directly ahead. From Glasgow City Centre Low level trains from Central and Queen Street stations to Anniesland (a change of train may be necessary at Hyndland). Exit Anniesland station and cross Great Western Road. Take the pedestrian crossings around the south side of Anniesland Cross, and with Glasgow High School playing fields on your left, walk down Anniesland Road. Turn left into Helensburgh Drive, and New Anniesland is directly ahead. Distance from Anniesland station about 500 metres. Or Low level trains from Central and Queen Street stations to Jordanhill (a change of train may be necessary at Hyndland). Exit Jordanhill station and cross Crow Road into Southbrae Drive. Turn into fourth on right (Chamberlain Road), and walk ahead to turn right into Helensburgh Drive. New Anniesland is then on the right. Distance from Jordanhill station about 1km. Or A taxi from the city centre should cost around £8 or £9. Or Numerous buses run along Great Western Road to Anniesland Cross. From there follow directions above as from Anniesland railway station.
